The Orthodox Church in America will consecrate a new bishop for its Albanian Archdiocese in Boston next month.
The previous hierarch, Archbishop Nikon, reposed in the Lord in Archbishop Nikon of Boston (OCA) reposes in the Lord“He exhibited the best traits of a true leader—the ability to listen and the ability to act decisively. We saw him not only as our bishop, but as one of us.”

According to a recent announcement from the Albanian Archdiocese, Fr. Nikodhim will be consecrated as a bishop on Saturday, September 16, at St. George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral in Boston.
Matins will be served at 9 AM, followed by the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and consecration at 10 AM.
The cathedral will host a luncheon following the service.
