Today is my birthday, so I thought I would just give a little life update.  It’s been awhile since I’ve talked about anything besides books.

First, I apologize for not replying to many comments lately.  I got way behind and then overwhelmed.

Our oldest grandchild turned 10 this week.  And we had a new one born last Friday.  That makes 5 and three are under three.  It’s a lot.  I love visiting in small doses.  I have no idea how my daughter does it.

My husband and I spent a lot of time out this summer.  I’d like to say we were hiking, but we honestly shopped a lot.  There were days that we got in three miles shopping though, so I’ll count it as exercise.  We went to Chicago quite a few times.  We haven’t been to any concerts recently, but we have three coming up in the next three months.  We did go to one earlier this summer and it was great.  We also went to a Padres game.  Sadly it was in Wisconsin and not San Diego.  The game was good, but some really rude fans ruined it quite a bit for me.  Not planning on going to a game there again unless I’m desperate.  I had a girl’s day out a few weeks ago that was much needed.  Hopefully I can have another soon.  If I don’t have another seizure, I’ll be able to drive again in November.  That will help a ton since we live 30+ minutes from everyone and we’re out of the way of everything.  My husband is busy at work all September and into October.  Hoping to make up for that by mid October.  He’ll owe me a birthday date too.

That’s pretty much it for me.  I’ve gotten into makeup which is weird since I’m now 46.  I never really knew how to do anything and youtube has been amazing.  Now I spend way too much though.  My reading has picked up a bit and I’m hoping I can keep it up.

I’ll finish this up with a few videos from the last concert we went to.

My name is Kristi and I review books and mod on TBR and Beyond on Facebook. I love to travel and go to concerts. I’ve been married for over 20 years. I listen to a lot of pop punk. Otherwise, I’m pretty boring. We do have four grandchildren now and try to see them monthly since they don’t live close. I read mostly YA and adult mystery/thrillers. I also read a lot of middle grade and some adult romance. You can also find me on facebook, twitter, and instagram (don’t post often).
